You are here! Just kidding. That tree doesn't know where you are. Love coming across these burrow trails on the trail. Loved this November bookmark prompt with @writing.the.wild . I added mine to my journal and wrote around them. They made me think of Maine. Love an interesting writing prompt. @darqskies and I went to the 🌲 lighting yesterday. We froze our faces. I went back and white here to reduce the amount of visible wind burn on my cheeks and chin. πŸ₯΄ Brrrrrr. Slanted autumn sunlight This was a rough week all around. I know I'm not alone in feeling that way. So to lift spirits here's Pan. She doesn't like looking at my phone/camera, just wherever my face is. But know she's purring and sending fluffy head bumps and soft face rubs. She really is the sweetest kitty ever. πŸ„πŸ„πŸ„πŸ„ 🍁🍁🍁🍁 You know, just fall and stuff. A couple more of my fall watercolor sketches for the @writing.the.wild program and some other πŸ‚πŸ photos. The first lead that looks like a dinosaur footprint is from a sassafras tree. I love these trees. They have 3 different types of leaf shapes and the tree is used for a bunch of things, but can be toxic too. It was used for sarsaparilla and the root was used to flavor root beer. Not any more though. Please love these trees, they aren't as abundant as they once were. Last night was so much fun for a wonderful cause. @mroachsmith organized the 8th BraVa event at the @capregionartscenter to collect bras, binders, and donations for individuals in DV shelters. Over the years 4,000 bras have been donated to @ywcagcr through this event. Can't wait to hear how it went last night! The stories told by my fellow writers made me laugh and tear up. I'm so honored to have been a part of this. Thank you to those who were able to come, thank you to those who donated, and thank you to those who bought bras and gave them to me to bring. The handle of my bag filled with bras broke as I was handing them over! I've done collections like this for my local shelters and it means so much. I like the suggestion made last night, when you're out buying a bra, buy a second and give it to your local DV program.
