Frosty leaves. Ice on my walk. We parked by this tree in Troy the other day. It was treating this metal cage, which I'm guessing was used for posting signs because of how high up on the trunk it is, like a wound and was growing scar tissue over it. Just amazing. Trees are friggin awesome. I would love to read the poems, essays, and short stories this tree could inspire. Yesterday was a sugar filled sippy afternoon with the Albany Hot Chocolate Stroll. It was a tight contest among our group as to who were our top 3 choices. I especially loved that @albanyhistoricalsociety and their gingerbread flavors. And it wasn't too hot. Be hot. Don't be scaling. Also, Saxophone Santa paid us a visit. I won #nanowromo2023 with 66,993 words! So yup. A little tired today. I've done NaNo before, but this was the first time I stopped adding words as I got close to 50,000 because I wanted to push myself through to the last day. See how far I could go. You are here! Just kidding. That tree doesn't know where you are. Love coming across these burrow trails on the trail. Loved this November bookmark prompt with @writing.the.wild . I added mine to my journal and wrote around them. They made me think of Maine. Love an interesting writing prompt. @darqskies and I went to the 🌲 lighting yesterday. We froze our faces. I went back and white here to reduce the amount of visible wind burn on my cheeks and chin. 🥴 Brrrrrr. Slanted autumn sunlight
