That would be considered disrespectful to the Grandmothers.” —Gabriel Garcìa Màrquez Did you get outside today? I'm teaching a writing class for @wow_womenonwriting starting in a few weeks! It's a 4 week online generative class focused on the magical marvelous real! I love this misunderstood style and can't wait to share it with new writers! The link is in my bio or go to wow-womenonwriting.com/classroom/ChristyOCallaghan_MagicalReal.php Happy Autumnal Equinox! 🌰 Welcome Fall 🍁 Happy Mabon! 🍂 https://www.instagram.com/reel/CxfxERELpYD/ Hydrangeas in all their September glory. Some pics from the trip @darqskies and I took to @landisarboretum We can't wait to go back for another visit. Went to @landisarboretum yesterday and got to play with the new journal and watercolor set from my @writing.the.wild class kit. I've never done watercolor sketching before, but I loved it. In fact, watercolor and I haven't really played together much at all. I do use pen and ink to do illustration, but that's a final step for shading and depth. This was quick and just capturing colors. Psyched to do more.
