Before you get excited, there are no hippos at Hippocamp. However, my review of Hippocamp 2019 just went live, sans hippos as well. As a new writer connecting with other writers has been so valuable. The Hippocamp Conference was a place I could relate, learn, and grow. As I’m experiencing more, I want to pass it along in case others are interested but are on the fence about trying something new. I use other peoples reviews as well as talking to them before I invest any money and time. I have a dream of going to a writing program in Ireland, but some I’ve seen advertised have turned out to be scams. Investigation before investment is so important.
